Lightroom Now Supports Native Tethering for Leica SL3 and Q3

Leica photographers are finally getting support for tethering in Lightroom Classic. With version 15.0, the SL3 and Q3 camera systems are natively supported, meaning that no additional plugins are necessary for tethering to work.

    Great post — thanks for sharing this! Really exciting to see Lightroom Classic 15.0 offering native tethering support for Leica SL3 and Q3 — no more plugins needed, and you get real‑time live view with full control over exposure, ISO, white balance, etc.
    At PHE Photos (https://phephotos.com/), we’re always on the lookout for workflow improvements like this — tethering directly into Lightroom can hugely streamline studio shoots. Looking forward to seeing how more photographers will use this update!

Nikon introduced the Nikon F SLR back in April of 1959, so this year is the 60th anniversary of the popular camera system. To celebrate, the Nikon Museum in Tokyo created a poster with a timeline of F-mount bodies. The poster features 169 different camera models and costs ¥1,200 (~$11). It’s a limited edition product so it’ll be gone once it sells out. Unfortunately for photographers who don’t live in the Tokyo area, there may not currently be a simple way to order this poster and have it delivered, so your best bet may be to try and snag one later on from a reseller. P.S. Here’s a bit of interesting trivia: did you know that the Nikon F was named after the ‘f’ in “re f lex”?
