Peak Design camera straps now available in Coyote colorway

Peak Design has released a new colorway for its camera strap products, including the Cuff, Leash, Slide Lite, and Slide. The new "Coyote" colorway, a medium brown, joins four existing color choices: black, ash, midnight, and sage.

With so many ways to be creative in photography, I get really excited with many ideas for a photograph. One area I find very interesting is sports action photography, but with a twist. It’s great to capture that split-second moment and have that frame frozen, but I wanted to explore capturing the motion and freezing the action all in one go. The 3-minute video above is of me using this technique with some karate students. I have used the strobe effect/repeating flash in the past during a dance shoot, which also captures the movement but freezes the movement with each burst of flash. This Photographer Spent 12 Years Shooting the Same Window

Alper Yesiltas , a photographer and lawyer from Istanbul, Turkey, spent the last 12 years shooting photos of the same window. The project only came to a halt last year because the owner knocked down the building, but the images are very creative indeed. The window opened out from a corridor in an apartment block, and it was positioned right next to Yesiltas’ room. Yesiltas started photographing the window in 2005, and he kept shooting until its destruction on May 1st, 2017. The lace curtain provided a dynamic element to the photos, bringing a different look to shots depending on how the wind caught it on a particular day. The window was also captured under different weather and different light.
